Dr. Xu is a professor in the School of Civil Engineering at Nanjing Forestry University. He obtained his B.S. in Civil Engineering from Wuhan University of Technology in 1998. He spent three years as an Assistant Engineer at Zhongtie Major bridge Engineering Group in China. Dr. Xu received his M.S. in Civil Engineering from Southeast University in 2004. Between 2004 and 2006, he was a Engineer at Architectural Design & Research Institute of Southeast University. He received his Ph.D. in Civil Enginnering from Southeast University in 2009. Dr. Xu worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Louisiana State University between 2009 and 2011. Then he was a Senior Research Associate at Southeast University between 2011 and 2012. In 2012 Dr. Xu joint the School of Civil Engineering at Nanjing Forestry University as a professor. He is author of more than 60 publications, including refereed papers and patents.
