Biography

Terry Lichtor, MD, PhD, received his degrees from the University of Chicago. He did his internship in General Surgery from Mayo Graduate School of Medicine and his residency in Neurological Surgery from the University of Chicago. He did his research fellowship in Neurobiology, and worked as a Research Associate in Department of Cell and Molecular and Structural Biology. He has been honoured with many prestigious awards; major committee assignments; memberships in Professional Societies, Editorial Boards and Scientific Advisory Boards. His major areas of research interests are Gene Therapy Strategies in the Treatment of Brain Tumors Development of Brain Tumor Vaccines, Development of MRI Technology for Measurement of Intracranial Pressure, Molecular Strategies in the Treatment of Alzheimer’s Disease.
