Thomas A. Martin, Psy.D., ABPP is a Clinical Professor in the Department of Health Psychology currently serving as Director of Adult Neuropsychology. Dr. Martin is board-certified in the areas of Clinical Neuropsychology and Rehabilitation Psychology by the American Board of Professional Psychology and he is a Fellow in American Psychological Association Divisions 22 (Rehabilitation Psychology) and 40 (Clinical Neuropsychology) and the National Academy of Neuropsychology. In 2008, he was the recipient of the National Academy of Neuropsychology’s Early Career Service Award. Dr. Martin is Past President of the Brain Injury Association of Missouri and in 2011 he received the Life Time Achievement Award from this organization. He has numerous publications related to the assessment and management of central nervous system dysfunction. Dr. Martin previously served as an expert member of an invited task force that was established to develop a comprehensive report for the U.S. Congress regarding the traumatic brain injury and psychological needs of returning military personnel and he was instrumental in the development and implementation of recently enacted legislation in Missouri related to the management of sports related concussion in high school athletes.
