Tomas Egana is group leader of the Laboratory of Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Therapies at the Department of Plastic and Hand Surgery Faculty of Medicine Technical University of Munich He is Engineer in Molecular Biotechnology University of Chile Phd in Human Biology University of Lübeck Germany and PhD in Pharmacology University of Chile His research is focused in the use of bioactive materials to improve tissue regeneration Beside his research activities he is serving as reviewer of several journals and has been member of the scientific board of different reputed international conferences

Biomaterials, cell therapies, angiogenesis, hypoxia, new animal models, aging, oxidative stress.
