Tony Hsiu-Hsi Chen
Professor, Tampere University
Finland
Tony Hsiu-Hsi Chen has received PhD in Division of Biostatistics from National Taiwan University. Currently working as Adjunct Professor, School of Public Health, University of Tampere, Finland.
The primary interest of Professor’s Chen academic research on biostatistics is “Applied Stochastic Process”, whereby various stochastic processes were formulated to modeling multi-state outcome research with non-Bayesian and Bayesian method in recent years. These stochastic modeling underpinnings have been used to do evaluation of health intervention programs, including population-based cancer and chronic disease screening (main track) and also some infectious disease processes. His interest has been further extended to decision theory on cost-effectiveness and cost-benefit analysis of health intervention program. He also translated these modeling processes into computer-aided software for tutorial purpose.
