Tyrone Fernando Director of Power and Clean Energy (PACE) Research Group at the School of Electrical Electronic and Computer Engineering (EECE), UWA. As the director of the PACE research group, I have taken on a leadership role that has seen the group grow rapidly within 2.5 years to reach a critical mass size consisting of 11 full-time PhD students and 8 international academic visitors. The research group has produced a large number of journal publications: 39 journal papers and 14 conference papers in 2.5 years.
