Vikram Verma obtained his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, Botany, Zoology St. Aloysius College, Rani Durgawati University in 2001 and completed his Ph.D. in Biotechnology at University of Pune, National Institute of Virology in 2010. His thesis works Molecular evaluation of water samples and water treatment protocols with special reference to Hepatitis A and Hepatitis E Viruses provided information related to Hepatitis virus. Dr. Vikram Verma has worked as an Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) by Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), INDIA after qualifying the National Eligibility Test (NET) in 2003 and as Senior Research Fellowship (SRF) by Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), INDIA in 2005.
His research interest are vaccines and therapeutic measures for infectious diseases.
