Biography

Dr. Vineeta Sharma is the Principal Consultant at Xpedite Pharma Solutions. Xpedite is a life sciences consulting company dedicated to providing regulatory, clinical data management and scientific writing support to advance treatment for diabetes, cancer and other metabolic disorders. Dr. Sharma holds a PhD from AIIMS, New Delhi and postdoctoral training from University of Michigan and UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital Oakland. She has published several peer-reviewed articles and book chapters in the field of metabolic disorders, obesity, diabetes, hematology and gene therapy. Over the years her research was mainly focused on metabolic disorders, gene therapy and biomarker discovery. Additionally, Dr. Sharma has also worked in startups, mid-size and fortune 500 companies, and in the areas of R&D, project management, product development, business development, regulatory affairs and clinical trial management. She is an advisor and board of director of life sciences startups.

Research Interest

Dr. Sharma’s research interest lies in cancer research, cell and gene therapy, metabolic and cardiovascular disorders. She is an expert in clinical diagnostics and acts as a liaison between academic research and it’s therapeutic and industrial applications.
