I am a qualified physician trained in India in Medicine with further sub specialization in Gastroenterology and Liver diseases with more than eight years of experience as an Attending and Officiating Head of Gastroenterology Department both in India and United Arab Emirates. Presently I am working as an Attending Physician in Medicine Department in my parent institution in United States. I have seven years of Internal Medicine training (four years in India and three years in US) and four and half years of Gastroenterology training from India.
I have a distinction of setting up the Gastroenterology Department three times in my career. I have high proficiency in extremely skilled complex diagnostic and therapeutic Endoscopies, Colonoscopies, Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangio Pancreaticoscopy. I am also trained in manometric studies designed to understand motility disorders of the complete GI tract including Sphincter of Oddi Manometry. I am also quite thorough in routine intensive care procedures involved in practices of acute medical care in emergency settings.
My current principal research interests are endoscopic sedation, helicobacter infection, CT Colonography and endoscopic innovations.
