Prof. Vladimír Vašků currently serves as chairman of the doctoral board for dermatovenerology at the Faculty of Medicine of Masaryk University. He is member of the Scientific Board of the Medical Faculty Masaryk University.He is the investigator of a number of grants and principal investigator of a large number of drug studies, especially in the area of psoriasis.In addition to serving as president of the Czech Academy of Dermatovenereology, he is involved in numerous Czech and international scholarly societies, serving e.g. as an international member of the American Academy of Dermatology (since 1995.
