Wai-Ki Ching is an associate Professor at the University of Hong Kong. He obtained his B. Sc. and M. Phil. degrees in Mathematics and applied Mathematics from the University of Hong Kong in 1991 and 1994 respectively. In 1998 he obtained his Ph.D. degree in Systems Engineering and Engineering Management from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He is an author/editor of over 250 publications including over 130 journal papers, 5 edited journal special issues, 3 books and over 70 book chapters and conference proceedings. He has been served as a referee for more than 70 journals and book series. Currently he is an associate editor of International Journal of Intelligent Engineering Informatics, Advances in Decision Sciences and East Asian Journal on Applied Mathematics.
