Dr. Wanis H Ibrahim is a consultant internist and pulmonologist at Hamad General Hospital in Qatar and assistant professor of medicine at Weill-Cornell Medical College. He is a fellow of the Royal Colleges of Physicians of Edinburgh and Glasgow and a fellow of the American College of Chest physicians. He is a member of editorial board of a number of international journals such as the International Journal of Tuberculosis and Lung Disease and the Journal of Medical Genetics and Genomics. He is a member of the International Union against Tuberculosis and Lung Disease. Dr Ibrahim is also a reviewer of many medical journals. He authored over 27 articles, a clinical sign and a book chapter. He received many teaching awards. He is a senior instructor for advanced life support courses at European Resuscitation Council and an MRCP clinical examiner.
Research interests include tuberculosis, lung cancer and asthma.
