Wan-Ju Li is Head of Laboratory of Musculoskeletal Biology and Regenerative Medicine, University of Wisconsin-Madison, Wisconsin. He is also Assistant Professor in Department of Orthopedics and Rehabilitation and Department of Biomedical Engineering, Faculty in Stem Cell and Regenerative Medicine Center and Trainer in Graduate Program in Cellular and Molecular Biology. He received a PhD in Cell and Tissue Engineering from Thomas Jefferson University, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 2004 and a M.S. in Biomedical Engineering from Drexel University, Philadelphia in 1999. He received Fellows Award for Research Excellence from National Institutes of Health, and Young Investigator Research Grant Award from North American Spine Society. He has published several highly referenced research papers in the field of tissue engineering. He is a reviewer for the journals of Tissue Engineering, Journal of Biomedical Materials Research Part A and B, Biotechnology Journal, Acta Biomaterialia, Biomacromolecules, Stem Cells and Development, Biofabrication, ASAIO Journal, Biomedical Materials, Cytotherapy and Expert Opinion on Biological Therapy.
