Dr William Chi-shing Cho is the principal investigator of onco proteomics and microRNA projects at the Department of Clinical Oncology in Queen Elizabeth Hospital. His main research interests have been focusing on cancer studies utilizing high-throughput technologies to discover biomarkers for cancer diagnosis, treatment prediction and prognostication. He is a Chartered Scientist granted by the Science Council (UK) and a fellow member of several institutes, including the Institute of Biomedical Science (UK), Hong Kong Institute of Biomedical Science and Hong Kong Society for Molecular Diagnostic Sciences. Dr Cho has published over 120 papers covering cancer biomarkers, proteomics and microRNAs. Dr Cho is a renowned scientist and also as an international grant reviewer of the Hope Funds for Cancer Research (USA), Cancer Research UK, Science Foundation (Ireland), Health Research Board (Ireland), National Medical Research Council (Singapore), and Academia Sinica Investigator Award (Taiwan).
