Dr. Wei Huang received his B.Eng and M.Eng degrees from Harbin Institute of Technology, China in 2004 and 2006, respectively. He received his Ph.D degree from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore in 2010. After that, he worked as a Research Associate in University of California San Diego, USA as well as a Research Fellow in Agency for Science Technology and Research, Singapore from 2011 to 2012. Dr. Huang joined Nanchang University, China in 2012 and is now working as an Associate Professor. Dr. Huang’s recent research interests mainly include but not limit to Telecommunication System & Management, Multimedia, Computer Vision, Pattern Recognition, etc. Dr. Huang has already published more than 30 international peer-reviewed journals and proceedings papers. He also received the Best Paper Award of MICCAI-MLMI 2010 sponsored by Philips America. Dr. Huang has acted as Principal Investigator in several grants, including ones approved by National Natural Science Foundation of China.
