Biography

Dr. Wen Zhong is an associate professor at the University of Manitoba (Canada), affiliating with the Departments of Textile Sciences and Medical Microbiology. Her research interests are in the area of functional nanomaterials (nanofibers and nanoparticles) for biomedical applications (wound dressings and tissue engineering). Her research is supported by national and provincial funding agencies, and has been published in leading journals in the area of biomaterials and nanomedicine (e.g. Journal of Material Chemistry, Biomacromolecules, Nanomedicine NBM, International Journal of Nanomedicine, Langmuir, Polymer).
