Dr. Xiao Liu is a lecturer at the School of Engineering and Design, Brunel University, UK. Before that, he was a research assistant and later a postdoctoral research associate in Department of Electronic & Electrical Engineering at University College London. He received the B.Eng degree in Information Engineering from Xi’an Jiaotong University, China in 2003, the M.Sc. degree in Microelectronics Systems Design from University of Southampton, U.K. in 2004, and the PhD degree from University College London, U.K. in 2009. His main research interests include analogue and mixed-signal circuit design for biomedical applications, neuroprostheses, sensor design, and wearable technologies. Dr Liu is a technical committee member of Biomedical Circuits and Systems Society of IEEE.
