Biography

Dr. Yao Li, who was born in Tianjin, China, has finished the undergraduate study in Nankai University in the year 2003, then he went to the Peking University for his master degree and supervised by Professor Shu Tao, researched on the area of organochlorine pesticides in China. When he finished the master degree in the year 2006, he went to the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology to finish the Ph.D. The research area in HKUST was the adsorption ability of activated carbon in the drinking water disinfection process. After that, Dr. Yao Li went back to Nankai University in the year 2011 and became an associate professor. Now his working interests are the adsorption ability and transportation of carbon nanomaterials, the environmental behavior of CNMs in the aqueous system and the effect of the environmental condition on the CNMs transformation.
