Biography

Yu Huang is the founding Director (Basic Sciences) of Institute of Vascular Medicine and the Professor of Biomedical Sciences, Faculty of Medicine, Chinese University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong SAR, China. In recent years he has been actively exploring new and more innovative clinically-relevant research or translational research and has published a series of high profile research papers in prestigious journals such as Cell Metabolism, Circulation Research, European Heart Journal, Diabetes, Hypertension, Arteriosclerosis, Thrombosis and Vascular Biology, Antioxidants & Redox Signaling, Cardiovascular Research, and Journal of Molecular and Cellular Cardiology. His main research interests include vascular dysfunction in diabetes, hypertension and metabolic disorder, and vascular pharmacology.
