Yuanjie Mao has completed his MD and PhD from Peking University Health Science Center, and is now working in the National Cerebral and Cardiovascular Center, Osaka, Japan as a research fellow. His research interest focuses on the therapeutic action of ghrelin and hexarelin in cardiovascular diseases, the role of the regulators of G protein signaling proteins in cardiovascular diseases, and the cross-sectional studies in diabetic cohort, and will be more focused on the investigation of the cross-talk of endocrine, nervous, and inflammatory systems in cardiac diseases.
