Biography

Yu-Pin Lin, is a professor in the department of Bioenvironmental Systems Engineering at National Taiwan University in Taiwan.He obtained his Ph.D. degree from Georgia Institute of Technology in USA. Prof. Lin has interested in application and development of Eco-hydrological and hydrogeological modeling, water quality modeling, soil heavy metal pollution, geostatistical spatiotemporal
methods, multi-scale analysis, quantitative methods in landscape ecology, watershed land use modeling, and optimal monitoring sampling design. He is also an associate editor of Environmental Monitoring and Assessment journal published by Springer, and the chief managingeditor of Paddy and Water Environment journal published by Springer. Moreover, Dr. Lin has been as reviewers for more than 30 international journals. Recently, Prof. Lin has been awarded a national outstanding research award by National Science Council of Taiwan government.
