Biography

Yves-Simon Gloy received the diploma and Ph.D. degree in mechanical engineering from RWTH Aachen University, Aachen, Germany in 2008 and 2013. Currently, he is working as deputy head of division production “Textile Machinery / Production Technologies” at the Institut für Textiltechnik der RWTH Aachen University, Aachen, Germany. His primary research interests cover analysis, modeling, automation and optimization of textile manufacturing systems as well as textile products and theirs recycling.
