Zehong (Jimmy) Cao received the B.E. degree in Electronic and Information Engineering, Northeastern University (NEU), the M.S. degree in Electronic Engineering from The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), and the dual Ph.D. degree at the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology, University of Technology (UTS), and the Institute of Electrical and Control Engineering, National Chiao Tung University (NCTU), respectively. Currently, he is working as a Research Associate in UTS, Australia. He is also a core member in Computational Intelligence and Brain-Computer Interface (CI-BCI) Lab, Centre for Artificial Intelligence, UTS.
Dr. Zehong has published 7 top-journals and conferences in recent two years. Furthermore, three first-author articles have been reviewed in Nature: Sci. Rep., Cephalalgia and Front Hum Neurosci., as well as two patents of invention are pending in US and Taiwan. In 2017, he was honoured with the Finalist Awards in the ‘Tech. Cup’ and ‘Win in Suzhou’ Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition. Additionlay, he has been invited to give oral presentations in IEEE-FUZZY (2017) and BME Annual Conference of Taiwan (2015), as well as serve as a referee for high-impact journals such as IEEE Trans. Fuzzy Systems, IEEE Trans. Cybernetics, IEEE Access, NeuroComputing, NeuroImage, Hum. Brain Mapp., Cephalalgia, and J Headache Pain.
His research interests are in the area of Data Science, Signal Processing, Brain-Computer Interface, and Machine Learning.
