Dr. Lingling Zhang is an assistant professor in the Department of Mass Communication and Communication Studies at Towson University, Maryland. Dr. Zhang got her Ph.D. in Mass Communication from Washington State University in 2008. Dr. Zhang’s research is focused on information processing and sociocultural and psychological effects of media messages. Her work has appeared in Howard Journal of Communications, Mass Communication and Society, Communication Quarterly, Journal of Marketing Communications, and the Review of Disability Studies. Dr. Zhang has presented more than twenty papers in national and international conferences.
