Dr. Hung is currently the Professor of Pediatrics, Fu-Jen Catholic University & Taipei Medical University. He attended medical school at National Taiwan University, completed residency in Pediatrics at Cathay General Hospital and then earned his doctoral degree from Tokyo Women Medical College, Japan. He is Board-certified Child Neurologist from Taiwan Child Neurology Society & Taiwan Neurological Society. He conducts epilepsy & pediatric neurology clinics in National Taiwan University Children’s Hospital and Cathay General Hospital at Taipei.
Dr. Hung is devoted to the epilepsy and child neurological disorders, not only in Taiwan, but also at an international level. He was the Secretary-General (1996-2002) and the President (2002-2005) of the Taiwan Child Neurology Society. He is the active member of International Child Neurology Association and also Asian Oceanian Child Neurology Association. Dr. Hung has published more than 120 scientific papers in his research career. His interests in the field of epilepsy include diagnosis and management of epilepsy, clinical trials of new antiepileptic drug, EEG and epilepsy education.
