Adverse Drug Reactions Impact Factor

Adverse reactions to the drug / drug used for clinical purposes are known as adverse drug reactions. The absence of qualitative and quantitative data prevents a precise assessment of the risk / benefit profile of pharmaceutical products. The journal impact factor provides a quantitative evaluation tool for classifying, evaluating, sorting and comparing journals of a similar nature. It reflects the average number of citations of recent articles published in scientific and social journals in a given year or period, and is frequently used as an indirect indicator of the relative importance of a journal in its field . It was first designed by Eugene Garfield, the founder of the Institute for Scientific Information. The impact factor of a journal is assessed by dividing the number of citations from the current year to source articles published in that journal in the previous two years.
