Amino-acids

Amino acids are the organic compounds that are combined to form proteins. Amino acids and proteins are the building blocks of the life. When proteins are digested or broken down in our body, amino acids are left. To make proteins our body uses amino acids as proteins helps our body to build. Amino acids are also used as a source of energy by the body. The 10 amino acids that we can produce are alanine, asparagine, aspartic acid, cysteine, glutamic acid, glutamine, glycine, proline, serine and tyrosine.
Amino acids are classified into three groups:

Essential amino acids
Nonessential amino acids
Conditional amino acids
