Empirical science is empirical evidence-based science. It's also a way to acquire knowledge through direct and indirect observation or experience. Empiricism values research of this nature more than other types. Empirical evidence (recording of one's direct observations or experiences) can be quantitatively or qualitatively analysed. A researcher may address empirical questions by quantifying or making sense of the evidence in a qualitative manner, which should be clearly described and answerable with the evidence gathered. The research design varies according to the area and the question under investigation. Many researchers combine qualitative and quantitative analytical forms to better respond to unstudyable questions.
