Endometrial cancer is a type of cancer which mainly affects the mucosa, the inner lining of the uterus. It is due to the abnormal growth of cells that have the ability to penetrate or spread to other parts of the body. Endometrial cancer is also called as uterine cancer, often identify at an early stage because it frequently produces abnormal vaginal bleeding, which prompts women to see their doctors. Endometrial cancer is associated with obesity, excessive estrogenic exposure, high blood pressure and diabetes mellitus.
