Women in the developing countries are 300 times more likely to die due to their time of childbirth in comparison with those in developed countries. Improving the woman's health care is one of the Millennium Development Goals of the United Nations . Significant and vital effort was made towards achieving the Millennium development Goal targeting about 75% reduction in maternal mortality ratio. Despite in this effort, there is said to be a high maternal mortality and morbidities in the developing countries when compared to developed countries. More than half a million women die yearly as a result of pregnancy and childbirth. This mortality rate is said to have vast majority in the developing countries.
