Mental health is the psychological wellness standard or absence of mental illness. It is the state of someone who functions "at a reasonable level of emotional and behavioral adjustment. Mental wellbeing may involve the willingness of an person to experience life from the viewpoint of positive psychology or holism, and strike a balance between life activities and psychological resilience efforts. Mental wellbeing encompasses "subjective well-being, perceived self-efficacy, autonomy, competency, intergenerational dependency," according to the World Health Organization (WHO). The WHO further notes that an individual's well-being is encompassed in the realization of their capacity, dealing with regular life pressures, successful work, and community involvement.
