Rice is the seed belongs to species Oryza glaberrima or Oryza sativa. As a cereal grain, it is the most widely consumed food and stored food for a large part of the world's human population, especially in Asia and Africa. It is the agricultural material with the third-highest worldwide production, after sugarcane and maize. Soil contains minerals, water, air, organic matter, and countless organisms that are the degrading remains of once-living things. It forms at the surface of land – it forms “skin of the earth.” Soil has the ability of supporting plant life and is vital to life on earth.
