A disease which attacks the tree roots that are growing in wet or damp soil is called as root rot. this disease is similar to many other diseases like pest problems leading to poor growth wilting leaves and a leaf drop thus reducing the lifespan of the plant and causing eventually death. The main cause of this disease is poorly drained or over water soil. Symptoms of this disease include gradual decline for growth, small and pale leaves, wilted leaves, thinning of canopy and fungal growth. This disease can be prevented by pruning out the infected root of the plant and disinfect any tools that are used for gardening purpose.
