Stem Cells Impact Factor

Adult stem cells have the power to replenish tissue or repair damage throughout adulthood. Most adult stem cells are difficult to get, but adipose stem cells and mesenchymal stem cells are often relatively easily extracted from fat tissue and bone marrow.  Results showed that human mesenchymal stem cells are just as, if not more, sensitive than 3T3 and NHK at predicting globally harmonized system categories. However, fetal and adult stem cells are harder to adapt to toxicity assays than pluripotent cells since they typically divide slowly, are often passaged in vitro a limited number of times, are often hard to obtain, and have limited differentiation abilities. These kinds of stem cells are also known as stromal cells. These stem cells are often differentiated into animal tissue surrounding organ and other tissues. Because of their native property of forming animal tissue, these stem cells are the foremost studied stem cells for bone tissue engineering. Stem cells are the essential building blocks of the human body; they will be differentiated into almost any sort of cell found in our body. Traditional technologies have provided a limited understanding of somatic cell biology and their differentiation mechanisms. To overcome the restrictions of current approaches to somatic cell research, microfluidic technologies have emerged as powerful tools for somatic cell analysis. In this chapter, we'll briefly introduce several microfluidic technologies for somatic cell analysis and its future trends. Adult stem cells also are considered as tissue specific stem cells. These cells are more specialized than ESCs. These stem cells can produce to several sorts of cells at their host area. They are tissue specific in terms of their differentiation specificity, for instance, hematopoietic stem cells can produce to blood cells only and no other cell lines, osteoblasts can produce only bone cells, etc.
