Metabolic syndrome is a combination of risk factors which includes high blood pressure, hypo and hyperglycemia, abnormal cholesterol levels and excess body fat around the waist that occur together, doubling your risk of heart disease, stroke, and diabetes. Liver is responsible for several vital functions within the body. It assists your body digest food, store energy, and remove poisons. Liver cancer is the growth and spread of unhealthy cells in the liver. Cancer that starts in the liver is called primary liver cancer. Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is the most common type of primary liver cancer.
