These products are not only consumed directly by humans but have also found their way into the diets of animals, including rabbits and poultry. However, the use of bee products in the context of animal nutrition raises several important issues that warrant attention. This article explores the present issues associated with incorporating bee products into the diets of rabbits and poultry, along with opinions from experts in the field.
Bee products and their nutritional value
Before delving into the issues, it's essential to understand the nutritional value of bee products. Each bee product offers a unique set of nutrients:
