Introduction

The construction industry is undergoing a paradigm shift with the advent of 3D printing robots, which are redefining how homes are designed and built. These advanced robots, capable of constructing houses layer by layer, offer a revolutionary approach to construction by reducing costs, time, and waste. In an era where housing shortages and environmental sustainability are pressing global challenges, 3D printing robots present a viable solution to create affordable, efficient, and eco-friendly housing. By combining robotics with additive manufacturing, these systems enable the construction of complex architectural designs that would be labour-intensive and costly with traditional methods. From single-family homes to entire communities, 3D printing robots are not only addressing the housing crisis but also pushing the boundaries of what is possible in modern architecture. However, while the potential of these robots is immense, their adoption comes with its own set of challenges, including technical limitations, regulatory hurdles, and the need for skilled operators.
