These changes pose significant risks to economic stability and growth, with developing countries and small island nations being particularly vulnerable. As the world grapples with the impacts of climate change, there is a growing recognition of the need for coordinated international efforts to mitigate these effects and adapt to the new realities of global trade. This involves not only reducing carbon emissions but also rethinking trade policies, investing in sustainable infrastructure, and developing new economic models that prioritize environmental sustainability alongside economic growth [1].
