Introduction

The factors that influence a patient's decision to see an orthopedic surgeon were the subject of several studies .Proficient abilities have reliably arisen as quite possibly of the main basis in persistent choice of a muscular specialist. Discussion

The patients independently completed 178 questionnaires at the entrance to the orthopedic clinic, where they waited for their turn. According to a recent Israeli study, Israelis place a high value on being able to choose their own surgeon, which in turn increases their trust in the healthcare syste. It is important to note that private health insurance has become more popular in Israel. Sports medicine orthopedist is one orthopedic subspecialty that, to the best of our knowledge, has not yet been investigated in terms of the factors that influence patient selection of healthcare provider. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to investigate the factors that influence patient preference for a sports medicine orthopedist in 2022 in both public and private hospitals.
