The Journal of Molecular and Genetic medicine gives you continuous coverage of all genetic and molecular aspects of medicine as well as in-depth documentation of genetic analysis within the current context of genotype/ phenotype correlations. In addition to this, publishes articles related to neurogenetics, cardiogenetics, nephrogenetics, medical genetics, etc. covering experimental and clinical investigations of the genetic mechanisms underlying genetic syndromes.
The Journal's main purpose is to report original research, review and case reports in the following areas but is not limited to these topics:
Cancer Genetics: clinical, experimental and molecular approaches to earlier detection and treatment of cancer in genetic disorders.
Genomic Medicine: Inborn errors of metabolism in malformation syndromes, natural history studies and management and treatment of individuals with these disorders.
Medical Genetics: Genetic analysis of new syndromes, syndromes in various populations, pathogenetics of syndromes and advances in genetic disorder treatment
Molecular Genetics: Molecular basis of human genetic disease, neurogenetics, developmental genetics, chromosome structure and function, molecular aspects of cancer genetics, biochemical genetics, gene therapy, major advances in gene mapping and understanding of genome organization.
Molecular Cytogenetics: Syndromes which are caused due to chromosomal aberrations.
Journal of Molecular and Genetic medicine provides a scientific approach for advanced studies of rare and common disorders which will make research studies in this area easily and quickly accessible to the scientific community. This will serve as the basis for high level studies into individualized diagnostics and therapeutics, for day-to-day medical care.
