Editorial Note

Pulmonary & Respiratory Medicine is open access, double-blind peerreviewed journal that publishes papers on all aspects of pulmonary and related respiratory diseases, as well as related molecular biology, pathophysiology, and epidemiology. It is a popular series of research and review journals with a specific format that is structured to provide a comprehensive and critical examination of the literature as described in many vital journals. Only manuscripts containing original work that has not been published previously, in whole or in part (including tables and figures), and that has not been submitted for publication elsewhere will be eligible for publication. Authors must obtain all required authorizations for the publication of their manuscripts before sending them. Heighten Science hopes to build a well-resourced research infrastructure with our experienced and academic writers to harness and disseminate new information, creativity, and perspectives in pulmonology and respiratory research. The latest update about the journal is that publishers converted bimonthly issue releases to monthly issue releases and publishing quality articles with rigorous peer review processes. All published articles of this journal are included in the indexing and abstracting coverage of Index Copernicus, Google Scholar, Sherpa Romeo, Open J Gate, China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI), EBSCO A-Z, EndNote (Thomson Reuters), Publons, Geneva Foundation for Medical Education and Research, Scilit (MDPI). Dr. Megan Frederick, Clinical Therapist, Respiratory Therapy, CanSleep Services, Canada and Dr. Alizaman Sadigov, Pulmonary Medicine consultant specialist, Ph.D., MD, DHSs, FCCP, and Prof. Dr in Respiratory (Internal)  Medicine at the Medical University of Baku, Azerbaijan, joined in our honorable editorial board. We are glad to announce that the journal had crossed publishing 500 + articles and successfully running its volume 11. Twitter profile of the journal @ PulmonaryMedic2 is increasing its followers to 1200+ by publishing the latest research news on COVID-19; respiratory and pulmonary research conducting globally. Journal is planning to index in international databases by publishing quality peer-reviewed articles and inviting submissions from global researchers to explore their ongoing research as we increase the visibility of the articles through sharing in scientific communities that help increase citations and H index of the authors. Journal provides the depth coverage of medical and clinical research in pulmonary medicine, respiratory medicine, critical care medicine, and sleep medicine by publishing original research, reviews, and case reports. Potential topics include bronchoscopy, Asthma, Chest drain, Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), Lung cancer, Tuberculosis, Smoking, Cystic Fibrosis, Sleep Apnoea, Pleural effusion, Pneumonia, Pulmonary embolism, Positron emission tomography (PET) scan, and CT Scan. Special thanks to Editor in chief Ibrahim Faruqi, Director, University of Florida, Interstitial Lung Disease Program, USA; Editors Reynold A Panettieri, Director, University of Pennsylvania, Airways Biology Initiative, USA and Dr. Alizaman Sadigov, Pulmonary Medicine consultant-specialist, Ph.D., MD, DHSs, FCCP and Prof. Dr in Respiratory (Internal) Medicine at the Medical University of Baku, Azerbaijan.
