I am pleased to introduce Journal of Lasers, Optics & Photonics (JLOP) (https://www.hilarispublisher.com/lasers-optics-photonics.html) a rapid peer reviewed Journal which has key concerns about multidisciplinary topics that includes physical sciences with material sciences, engineering and technology. Journal main aim is to encourage the latest developments and innovations for publication on the open access platform as research articles, reviews, case studies, commentaries, short communication and the letters to the editor.

The Journals aims to flourish and to maintain the standards in research and practice, provide platform and opportunity for researcher to present their research work and analytical assessment of research and probably it is much in deed for students, teachers and professors.

Journal of Lasers, Optics & Photonics focuses on all the broader as well as specific areas of research in the fields such as laser optics, optical film coating, infrared rays, fiber optics, optical axis, coherent light radiation, convergence and divergence, laser oscillation and luminance, reflection and refraction, semiconductors, quantum mechanics, electro optics, magneto optics, Nano photonics, non-linier photonics, etc.

During the calendar year of 2019, JLOP received a total of 20 manuscript, out of which 20% articles were rejected in the preliminary screening due to plagiarism or being out of the format and peer review process. During 2019 around 10 articles were subjected for publication after they are accepted in the peer review process. In the 3 issues of Volume 6 published during the year 2019, a total of 12 articles were published (at an average of 4 articles per issue) of which, articles were published from authors all around the world. Globally articles have been accessed by the research scientists and also cited.

I take this opportunity to acknowledge the contribution of our reviewers for their exceptional support during the open access process and the managing editor during the final editing of articles published and the support, in bringing out issues of JLOP in time. I would also like to express my gratitude to all the authors, reviewers, the publisher, the advisory and the editorial board of JLOP, the office bearers for their support in bringing out yet another volume of JLOP and look forward to their unrelenting support to bring out the Volume 7 of JLOP in scheduled time. With their support, we have released the new volume (Volume 7) of JIBC for the calendar year 2020. We have released 6 issues in Volume 7, and we look forward to bringing out the Issue 7 of the Journal of Lasers, Optics & Photonics (JLOP) in the month of September.
