Editorial

I am delighted to introduce Journal of Blood & Lymph (JBL) a wellestablished an international peer reviewed journal with open access publishing significant developments in the field of hematology and related medical science specializations. Journal is running successfully since 2011. It is our pleasure to announce that journal has released 9 volumes by the end of 2019 with quality of articles and is successfully running its 10th Volume.

The journal provides a global forum for communication of original research, reviews and other forms of science communications pertaining to the basic laboratory, translational, and clinical investigations on etiology, screening, diagnosis, therapy and management of benign and malignant diseases affecting blood, bone marrow, lymph and spleen. The journal provides wide coverage of all aspects of hematology, including disorders of leukocytes, erythrocytes, platelets, hemostatic mechanisms, vascular biology, immunology, and hematologic oncology.

The Journals aims to flourish and to maintain the standards in research and practice, provide platform and opportunity to present evidence based medicine and analytical assessment of research and probably it is much in deed for students, teachers and health care professionals to enhance the patient care.

We welcome papers from diverse disciplines such as hematology, vascular biology, immunology, and hematologic oncology. Priority will be given to theoretical, empirical and policy driven papers. The journal will also publish special issues on current topics. Needless to say, any papers that you wish to submit, either individually or collaboratively, are much appreciated and will make a substantial contribution to the early development and success of the journal. In order to publish up-to-date, high-quality and original research, JBL aspires to coin a special issue-2020 on Coronavirus disease pandemic. Therefore, Editorial Board members of JBL are decided special issue title as “Hematological findings and complications of COVID-19”. The topics to be covered under this are

• COVID-19 and Coagulopathy

• COVID-19 and Thalassemia

• COVID-19 and Sickle Cell Disease

• COVID-19 and Immune Thrombocytopenic Purpura

• COVID-19 and Aplastic Anemia

Authors are cordially invited to submit their current research activities and outcomes in the form of any article type of science communication such as original research, review, expert opinion, commentary, short note communication to our Journal.

Manuscripts can be submitted online via Editorial Tracking System or as an E-mail attachment to the Editorial Office at lymph@emedicalsci.org or blood@oajournal.org. JBL is using Online Review and Editorial Tracking Systems for quality review process and the authors can submit manuscripts and track their progress.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank current editorial board members for their ongoing commitment to the standards to which the journal aspires. During the last two years these board members have handled the large majority of first-round submissions. As a result we have significantly expanded our pool of excellent reviewers, average turnaround times have decreased; most papers now have at least two reviews and their quality has been steadily improving.

We look forward to work with all of you as we continue to make Journal of Blood & Lymph a success and we welcome your submissions, as well as feedback as authors, readers, and reviewers of the journal.
