We are happy to be able to give summaries and samples of the huge body of work that is being done in connection to Journal of Environmental Analytical Chemistry by academics, physicians, and the many organisations and individuals that devote their time in advancing good causes. Environmental Analytical Chemistry has experienced significant content and format modifications in recent years. Its online presentation has also changed, and while we're still working on it, we thought it'd be a good idea to let you know where we are so that you're aware of some of the exciting improvements that have already happened and others that are on the way.

These, too, are meant to provoke thinking and typically deal with current topics. Clinical Articles, of which there are various sorts of Clinical Care articles, is an interesting and brand-new section. These allow you to publish case studies or series of case studies, as well as remark on clinical results and observations. This part can include observations on current practice and those linking them to historical knowledge, as well as re-examination of past issues and discussion of them in light of fresh evidence. These pieces are meant to be interpreted and supplemented with clinical knowledge and experience. They may also be used as training and education templates. Musings, which are typically more meditative pieces that make a single noteworthy point, are also published on occasion by the journal. We believe this is a significant step forward since it assures that knowledge is publicly available, allowing for high-quality research and clinical practice. The magazine has worked closely throughout its history, but especially recently, to promote the publishing of significant advances, ideas, research, and lessons for practice in the form of task Force articles. It's difficult to overlook the fast societal changes brought on by the COVID-19 public health emergency. Nonetheless, we see in our resilient colleagues and patients the capacity to innovate, overcome obstacles, and seek solutions while being awake and attentive in this unpredictable time. COVID-19 has unquestionably had an influence on the publishing industry.
