In nursing, AI holds the potential to enhance patient care, improve outcomes, and streamline workflow processes. In this article, we will explore the integration of AI in nursing care, examining its applications, benefits, challenges, and implications for nursing practice. AI-powered Clinical Decision Support Systems (CDSS) analyze patient data, medical literature, and best practices to assist nurses in making evidence-based decisions. These systems can help identify potential risks, recommend treatment options, and provide real-time guidance at the point of care, enhancing clinical reasoning and improving patient safety. AI algorithms can analyze large volumes of patient data to identify patterns, trends, and risk factors associated with adverse outcomes. Predictive analytics can help nurses anticipate patient deterioration, prevent complications, and optimize care management strategies, leading to better outcomes and resource utilization. AI-enabled remote monitoring technologies enable nurses to remotely monitor patients' vital signs, symptoms, and adherence to treatment plans.
