By analyzing the costs and outcomes associated with different treatment options, pharmacoeconomics plays a crucial role in informing decisionmaking processes aimed at maximizing the value of healthcare expenditures. This article delves into the significance of pharmacoeconomics in optimizing healthcare economics and decision making [1].

Understanding pharmacoeconomics

Pharmacoeconomics encompasses various methods for assessing the economic value of healthcare interventions, particularly pharmaceuticals.
