The Computer Applications programme is designed to teach students how to use application software on a computer. Word processing, spreadsheets, databases, desktop publishing, the Internet, and Windows operating systems are among the applications covered. A computer's high calculation speed, diligence, accuracy, dependability, or versatility has made it an integral part of all business organisations.
Banking is now almost entirely reliant on computers. Banks offer the following services: online accounting (checking current balances, making deposits and overdrafts, checking interest charges, shares, and trustee records). Customers will find it even easier to deal with banks now that ATM machines are completely automated. With the help of computers, insurance companies keep all records up to date. Computers are widely used in the operations of insurance companies, finance houses, and stock brokerage firms.
The computer aids in the provision of many services in the educational system. CBE is a tool provided by the computer in the educational system (Computer Based Education). Control, delivery, and evaluation of learning are all part of CBE. The number of computer students is rapidly increasing as a result of computer education. A computer can be used in a variety of ways to educate students in educational institutions. It is used to create a database containing information about a student's performance, which is then analysed.
The computer's uses in marketing are as follows, Advertisement in Computer Marketing Advertising professionals use computers to create art and graphics, write and revise copy, and print and distribute advertisements in order to sell more products. Home shopping is now possible thanks to the use of computerised catalogues that provide access to product information as well as direct entry of orders to be filled by customers. Computers have become an essential component in hospitals, laboratories, and dispensaries. They are used in hospitals to keep track of patients and medications. It is also used to scan for and diagnose various diseases. Computerized machines are also used to perform ECGs, EEGs, ultrasounds, and CT scans, among other things.
One of the most important areas is CAD (Computer Aided Design), which allows for the creation and modification of images. Structural Engineering is one of them. Stress and strain analysis is required for the design of ships, buildings, budgets, and aeroplanes, among other things. Engineering in Industry Computers are concerned with the design, implementation, and enhancement of integrated systems of people, materials, and equipment. Engineering in Architecture Computers aid in the planning of towns, the design of buildings, and the determination of a variety of buildings on a site using both 2D and 3D drawings.
Computers are widely used in military applications. Tanks, missiles, and weapons of the modern era. The military also makes use of computerised control systems. Missile Control and Military Communication are two military applications that have made use of computers. Communication is a method of conveying a message, an idea, a picture, or a speech in such a way that it is received and understood clearly and correctly by the person to whom it is intended. Some of the most important areas in this category are computer communication, e-mail, and chatting [1-5].
