Climate change, driven primarily by human activities, has ushered in a new era where the once-sturdy ice formations are melting into oblivion. This article explores the multifaceted facets of this crisis, delving into the causes behind the accelerating disappearance, the environmental repercussions and the potential impacts on ecosystems and human societies. The primary driver of glacial retreat is indisputably global warming.
