Understanding epilepsy, its causes, types of seizures, and treatment options is crucial for promoting awareness, providing support, and dispelling misconceptions surrounding this often-misunderstood condition. In this article, we explore the intricacies of epilepsy and shed light on the challenges faced by individuals living with epilepsy.
What is epilepsy?
Epilepsy is a chronic neurological disorder characterized by recurrent seizures. Seizures occur due to abnormal electrical activity in the brain, resulting in temporary disruptions in brain function.
