There is no doubt in my mind whatsoever that modern civilization would collapse in a matter of months if oil stopped flowing. It is hard to imagine industrial operations or even private activities without oil and gas – anywhere in the world. Not only do they supply energy for heat and power, they are also found in everyday items, such as medicines, plastics, and clothing.
